Dr. Watson has been a dentist for 34 years and is as passionate about his patients and dentistry as when he first started. He has extensive experience in cosmetics, implants, crowns and bridges and a special interest in root canal therapy.
Each month he spends many hours maintaining and extending his knowledge and skills at lectures and courses to ensure the best treatment for any dental problem you have. Ian understands that while the “gold standard” of treatment would be preferable, circumstances and budget do not always allow for this, so Ian offers alternatives where possible.
Ian has extensive experience in many fields in dentistry: cosmetics, implants, crowns and bridges, and with a special interest in root canal therapy (endodontics). He understands that a lot of people are nervous about coming to the dentist, so Ian offers the option of having treatment carried out with sedation under the care of a Medical Doctor. This means you are relaxed and don’t remember the procedure.
Ian qualified as a dentist in Western Australia and has been on the Sunshine Coast over 26 years, with the last 12 years at the Dental Centre Maroochydore. He loves the coast and intends to live here for the rest of his life with his wife Janelle. Ian’s personal interests include walking the dog (Charli), paddling his outrigger, and building and restoring furniture.
